Why is x episodes

It's is the battle everyone wanted ever since the Hunter Exams started, and it didn't disappoint. While it can't compare to some of the later fights as far as power levels go, it's a more intimate battle that's seamless in its animation. The way everything led up to Gon finally punching Hisoka in the face is very well done, making the fight scene and episode a joy to watch. The episode has its fair share of action and big moments in it, but it's really a showcase of Chrollo, the leader of the Phantom Troupe.

He's given far more depth as a character, most notably during the epic requiem scene where he poetically speaks over the backdrop of members of the Phantom Troupe slaughtering people. It showed how Hunter x Hunter can turn slower character-developing moments into something more. It helped solidify the Phantom Troupe into one of the most interesting villains organizations in anime. As the Phantom Troupe caused mayhem on the streets of Yorknew City, Zeno and Silva located Chrollo and engaged in combat after a brief chat.

That confrontation was the highlight of episode 52 and still stands as one of the best fights in the series. Zeno and Silva were always remarkable combatants, so watching them face off against the Troupe's infamous leader was an exciting moment for viewers.

To this day, fans still debate over who really would've triumphed had all three characters given their all. Gon and Killua found Neferpitou using its Doctor Blythe ability to heal Komugi, fiercely protecting the girl during the process. Nonetheless, the young protagonist was furious beyond belief and insisted on confronting Pitou.

Gon insulted his best friend in the midst of his anger, which led to Killua's departure from the scenario. This episode profited from its intensity and suspense, which transitioned into an even more noteworthy episode later on. This was the th and final episode of the Hunter x Hunter series. It gave fans an occasion long overdue, the moment when Gon and Ging Freecss reunited and enjoyed a private heart-to-heart conversation. Granted, this didn't excuse the absent father's unseemly parenting skills, but fans couldn't bring themselves to rain on Gon's parade.

Though the manga is "ongoing" despite suffering from a serious hiatus dilemma. Past x And x Future marked the end of the anime, for now.

Pitou interrupted the trio's journey, sliced Kite's arm off, and inadvertently triggered a burst of anger from Gon. Killua noted the glaring imbalance of power, so he knocked Gon out before he did anything foolish and fled with his best friend's unconscious body.
